Recognizing the potential for a unified brand, I spearheaded a rebranding initiative that consolidated these divisions into a single, cohesive identity, with each former company now serving as a distinct service under the Cloud 9 Music umbrella.
What is Cloud 9 Music?
Cloud 9 Music, established in December 2004, is a prominent Dutch record label and music publishing company based in Amsterdam. Over the years, it has represented a diverse roster of artists, including Claude, Jaap Reesema, Kris Kross Amsterdam, Snelle, and Turfy Gang. In October 2024, Warner Music Group Benelux acquired Cloud 9 Recordings, with co-founder Raymond van Vliet continuing as President. This acquisition marked a significant milestone in the label’s evolution within the Dutch music industry.
