In 2019, I co-founded Make It Raw with Fleur Groenen, aiming to foster growth alongside artists by providing tailored marketing, branding, and professional strategies. Our agency is dedicated to nurturing talent and guiding artists through the evolving landscape of the entertainment industry.

We are proud to manage a diverse roster of talents, including producer and artist Dario Santana, innovative artist Some, TikTok livestreamer Marty Morua, and the engaging travel podcast Reistories. Meanwhile, my co-founder, Fleur Groenen, serves as the day-to-day manager, meticulously handling contract reviews, fee negotiations, and percentage agreements to ensure our artists receive fair and beneficial terms.

Understanding the high-pressure nature of the music industry, we prioritize the mental well-being of our artists. We strive to create a supportive environment where they can momentarily set aside industry stresses, enjoy a cup of ginger tea, and openly share their concerns. This approach allows us to address their needs holistically, fostering both their professional and personal growth.

Make It Raw’s branding and identity

The branding and identity of Make It Raw were masterfully crafted by graphic designer Guillaume Besomen, resulting in a design that is both simple and powerful. Drawing inspiration from Asian neon signs, the visual identity captures a vibrant and dynamic aesthetic that reflects the agency’s innovative spirit. At the heart of the design lies the Japanese word for “The Hague,” honoring the birthplace of the agency and grounding its global vision in local roots.

This thoughtful integration of cultural elements not only pays homage to the agency’s origins but also establishes a distinctive and memorable brand presence. The minimalist yet striking design ensures clarity and impact across various platforms, effectively communicating Make It Raw’s commitment to guiding artists through the complexities of the modern music industry.
